Revenium Users & Organizations

This page allows you to manage the Users who have access to Revenium and to create new user accounts as needed. It also allows you to implement an organizational hierarchy in Revenium if needed.

Creating & Managing Revenium Users

When creating new users of Revenium, tenant and organizational administrators can choose which the new user will have access to.

After entering the new User's email address and saving the form, an email invitation is sent inviting the user to create an account. These invitations do expire after a period of time, so please ensure your new users set up their account shortly after receiving their invitations. (also, you won't see their information in the Revenium Users tab until they accept their invitation)

Creating & Managing Revenium Organizations

Organizations in Revenium support the configuration of parent and child organizations to create an n-tier hierarchy to align to your own business structure.

Typical Use Case

Revenium organizations are useful if you want to allow different business units in your company to create Products, Sources, and Customers that are not shared with users from other Revenium Organizations by default. As users are created, they can be assigned membership in one or many organizations which will control the access they have to view configurations stored under each organization.

Note that tenant administrators have access to all Organizations, but each Organization has access to their reporting and analytics that is isolated to their own data sources and products.

Note: Only Subscribers with the role of "Tenant Admin" can see the organizations page.

Adding Custom Metadata to Organization Records

You can use the custom-metadata section of the organizations menu to add any additional information that you need to be sync'd between Revenium and your external (usually financial) systems. As an example, you may wish to track a department ID or other internal data in Revenium. To do so, you would create a new metadata pair and then update this value manually or via our to stay in sync with your own records.

Switching Between Organizations

  1. As explained above (see Figure 1), the data shown on all pages in Revenium depends on the current organization selected.

  2. To change the current organization at any time, click on the organization switch icon in the top right of the navigation bar.

  3. After expanding this menu, the Organizations menu appears (Figure 3).

  4. Click on any of the available organizations in the list to select it and the data displayed in the application will be updated.

Reminder: you must be a member of an organization to see it as an option in the organizations list. Organization & Tenant admins can control organizational membership for Revenium users by editing the user's record on the user's tab of this page.
