Data Sync
API management configurations (currently MuleSoft only) allow an API catalog to be sync'd with Revenium to avoid the need for manual data entry when creating an API source& product catalog in Revenium
Configuring an API Management Data Sync
Search for Integrations in the navigation menu search bar.
Next, click on "Configure Data Sync" (Figure 1)
After clicking on the APIM Configurations link, the APIM Configurations dashboard appears.
Depending on the type of gateway linked, you may see additional information such as the different environments in the gateway (Staging, Production, etc.), which appear in the "Sync'd Environments" tab.
Create APIM Configuration
Make sure your Anypoint account user is exempted from MFA before creating the APIM configuration
Click on the APIM Configuration create button, shown in Figure 1 on the bottom half of the page.
After clicking on the create button, the APIM Configuration create form appears (Figure 2a, Figure 2b).
The fields available on the "Properties" step are determined by the APIM Provider that was selected.
Fill in the required inputs and click on Save to create a new APIM Configuration.
After clicking on the Save button, the changes will be saved.
Disabled for Misconfiguration
Note that if you see a toggle indicating your configuration has been disabled (see Figure 3), this means that Revenium has received continuous errors from the linked platform and has disabled the configuration to avoid being rate-limited from the API platform.
To re-enable your configuration, adjust the configuration parameters, test your connection, save and close. If the connection is successful, the platforms will continue to sync in the background going forward.
Required MuleSoft Sync Permissions
Note that in the case of MuleSoft connections, the following MuleSoft user permissions are required for the sync to work correctly:
